Accessories
The NateChrony SmartTarget has 6 outputs - 1 for addressable LEDs, and 5 programmable outputs. These accessories connect to these outputs to indicate hit detection, shot placement, and can drive external equipment via relay boards.
Short Range LED Kit - Cross
The short range kit features 5 LEDs in a cross shape, with spacing of 50mm. This makes it convenient and compact for shorter ranges, typically 50-100m. It connects directly to the SmartTarget outputs via a supplied 1m cable.
The middle LED will show green on a center hit, red on the outer LEDs when struck at the outer edges, and orange on the outer LEDs when struck between the center and outer edges.
The cross can be mounted to a surface behind the target (to avoid spalling) via tape, bands or zip ties.
Long Range LED Kit - 4+2 LEDs
The long range kit features 4 LED modules (and 2 spare), which are connected to either the 4-connector board or can be daisy-chained to each other, via the supplied 30cm cables and connectors. This allows spacing between LEDs of up to 60cm, ideal for easy recognition at long ranges.
All four LEDs will display green on a center hit, show red when struck at the outer edge, and orange when struck between the center and outer edge.
The LEDs are supplied with quality 3M double sided tape, and are stuck to the rear surface of the target, or another surface behind the target face.
Long Range LED Kit - 10+2 LEDs
This kit is the same style as the 4+2 above, but with more LEDs and larger 10x connector board. This allows for larger and creative designs, with different LED colours and behaviours, such as a doe or buck with highlighted antlers and eyes.
DIY LED Kit - 10+2 LEDs
The ultimate in flexibility - we provide the LED boards and snap connector blocks, you then wire and connect them in any style you want. This is perfect for target makers or people that want to do customise their targets, and really transform a boring target into a fully interactive one.
LEDs will need wires soldered to the boards, however the supplied snap connectors make interconnecting and LED replacements quick and easy. You will also need to mount them using tape, or they can be drilled and screwed into place.
